That’s just some asshole from Russia. As bad as the Russian government is behaving that poster is not a product of either Putin’s administration or the country as a whole. It leaves the wrong impression when people attribute this kind of shit to “#Russia,” it’s not helpful or instructive.

It’s a common sentiment there. Racism in Russia is much more overt than here; whether it is more common, I can’t say, but they’re generally unapologetic about it.
