A simple concept, of course: except for a hackish Islamophobe like Dinesh the Dense, the even simpler one is “hijab = Muslim = Evil Terrorist” - which is about as much intellectualizing as his intended audience can deal with.

Many of us Muslims can be self-absorbed hypocrites who only use liberalism when it suits us and discard it when it doesn’t. It usually comes into motion when bringing up forced hijab policies in Iran and Saudi Arabia and how some of them justify it by claiming they aren’t liberal democracies..so therefore that makes it okay.

Um, no it doesn’t.
