We don’t buy enough Girl Scout cookies, but we buy way too many.
When I was stationed in Rota, Spain, the base Girl Scout troop would have their cookies delivered by Navy C-130 aircraft to the base. (I’m not sure whether the Girl Scouts had to pay for that or whether the Navy offered it as a morale thing.)
There were always scores of volunteers to unload the aircraft to get the cookies to the Girl Scouts.
The cookies were also very popular out in town; Spanish nationals bought them by the planeload.
