ah, yes. Arianism. The argument over whether Christ came into the world solely in his birthday suit, or already had a halo. It wasn’t until the seventeenth century that the Church began warring over non-trivial things, like the millions who died over whether or not the bread and wine truly became flesh and blood (in a spiritual sense), or whether the bread and wine just became flesh and blood in a metaphorical sense. And also the little known war about which end of the egg should be cracked when making omelettes, with Rome going for the big end and most of Northern Europe going small.

And Russia had a major schism over whether one uses two or three fingers to make the sign of the cross…
