When you realize, thanks to Citizens United, that the Kochs, the Mercers, and Sheldon Adelson could all get together and form a PAC to buy each GOP Senator for $1 million a year and not even feel it you begin to see how totally fucked we are. Hell, they can even deduct the bribes from their taxes.

As for buying the House, I think an all expenses paid trip to Russia to meet Putin, led by Dana Rohrbacher, would be plenty.
