The market changes constantly. And the styles of things like travel, are now driven by price. You get what the market chooses.
Travel used to be comfortable, glamorous, even. But WE the consumer, prefer cheap. So that is what we are getting offered.

I flew 1st Class once. What a difference that was. You get treated like a big shot. Another time I flew on a nearly empty UAL 767 and that was kind of nice too. Haven’t traveled since before 9/11.
