It would be a goddamned challenge to find a less pre-vetted candidate than Sarah Palin. The mayor of Kansas City would be competitive.

You can be sure that there’s somebody out there that we don’t know much about, who’s on the short list due to a “solid” conservative record. They need to bring some sort of excitement to the ticket, just as Palin did for the McCain ticket in ‘08. Perhaps more so, considering how much of a cardboard cut-out Mittens is.
