It’s like Will said, it would be a defacto ban because most gun owners would be unable to get insurance to sign off on such restrictions. When any gun you sell might make you liable for criminal penalties a decade down the road, why take the risk?

Do your job, cover all your bases, and you won’t be held liable. There are still plenty of places that serve alcohol.
