I’m saying if he had though, the argument to nominate him based off hypothetical polls was funny though since it’s something those types would hate if it was done to them. To me, I just didn’t think Sanders would make a good President. I appreciated his voting recodr and passion but I didn’t see a President. a President wears many hats as you know and I didn’t see Bernie as someone who could wear all those hats. That as much as his rhetoric could sometimes frustrate me is why I ultimately didn’t support him.

Well, when it comes right down to it, I can’t say whether Bernie Sanders would have made a good president or no. Same with Hillary Clinton (despite executive experience).

The test of a president is when that person becomes president. We’ve had lots of people who were thought would make good presidents and didn’t pan out, and vice versa.

The idea of “he polled well” equating to “he would have won” doesn’t mean a whole lot. (See Hillary Clinton, who polled well against Donald Trump.)

All that aside, there was no question with the people Mr. Trump was surrounding himself with, the things he said on the campaign, and his trail of broken business contracts and bankruptcies would make him a singularly bad president.
