You can be partisan and attack your own party. tea Partiers aren’t partisan? They attack everyone in their party who they feel is a RINO.

Partisan is a silly word. Many, if not most, support the party of their choice—while disliking the other. There is a reason for this, and it is not “tribalism” or any other buzz word you want to throw around. Conservatives are going to agree with the GOP most of the time, while having a distaste for the Dems. And vice-versa.

And while we are on the subject, when did DF become the trendy new target around here? This is like the third time I’ve logged in recently only to show up in the middle of a pile-on.
