I happen to agree with Weigel in his assessment of Drudge. If this really was in a private email, it’s nobody’s business, frankly.

Drudge is an asshole, and Weigel wasn’t saying he was going to set Drudge on fire or something. But I have no love for Weigel. Still, I don’t get how this is news. It’s like high school gossip.

“OMG DID YOU HEAR WHAT DAVE SAID?!?!?!”

Because the more responsibility and visibility you have, the more professional you’re expected to be. That little equation shouldn’t be news to anyone in his position.
