It’s more restful to read something you don’t have to plug in. And we have a number of very good libraries within striking distance.

My experience is different. When kindles came out I was quite happy to change to them. They’re lighter, can hold several books and can access new books instantly.

When I moved over to a tablet where I could store hundreds of books and music and actually read in the dark (without a flashlight and a blanket) I gave up paper books almost completely.
