I honestly don’t think there’s anything Trump could do to lose the support of his most dedicated followers.

E.g., Trump if were to propose a tax increase, it would get rationalized with: “A cunning plan to peel off Democrats in the general election”.

Trump’s supporters are doing a big “fuck you” to everyone else in the country, and support for Trump is just their way of flipping everyone off.

Yeah you’re right about that. Trump could be caught on tape calling them a bunch of morons who will believe anything and they’d rationalize it as “he’s not talking about us!”
