You’re right. On another of my Dads and I mountain climbing expeditions we went up the north end of the Presidential Range from Randolph (?) to the AMC cabin on Mt Adams. We were going down the east side intending to come out at Dolly Copp campground. We were about a quarter of the way down and got caught up in a freezing rain/sleet storm. We had no rain gear. Got soaked and survived by walking hard and not stopping in order to keep warm. It’s a wonder my Dad and I survived my childhood.
