I disagree. The fact that he stood in a window and shot at a large number of people, killing them, made it political. His statement may not have been anything more than “Look, I killed a lot of people” but a man with a lot of guns killing people is political.

Yeah, I just don’t see how that is political unless you are using a very loose definition of political.

I am not saying this wasn’t terrorism, just saying we don’t know. If you make terrorism synonymous with mass murder it is just a watering down of the term.
