Received very sad news last night that my dear friend songwriter Allee Willis passed away yesterday. That really got to me because I chatted a bit with her on Facebook Monday night. Allee was a one of a kind dynamo. RIP dear friend!

And we had the gang of idiots here firing off M80s, shooting fireworks and firing their AKs until 2AM. Police, Fire Department and Paramedic sirens kept going off in Koreatown.
