The video reminds me of something Thomas Jefferson said. “The Earth belongs to the living in usufruction.” Meaning you only own what you own while you are alive and after that whatever you owned belongs to the next bunch. There is no natural law that says the dead should control what happens after they are gone and the piece of earth you “owned” should be left intact for the next person who owns it. We are just a stewards of the land, so go ahead and use it, but don’t F*ck it up for those who will follow.

Everything about our civilization seems to contradict that quote from TJ3. Now the prevailing thought is the Earth is a busted pinata so grab what you can quickly before someone else does.
