you’re a good man…I was a Scout and my dream was always to go to this fabled place…Philmont…the guy that gave the Scouts that land was a saint…the scenery is extremely dramatic in a soft sort of way…go back up the Cimarron, over the divide and the vast landscape of the Rio Grande valley lies below you…it is very dramatic

I rode a bike through there on a cross-country trip. Nine years later I moved to the state (not near there, but there are many nice spots, as you know).
