Across the lake or Metairie?
Just saying that when I get back to New Orleans now, it saddens me to see how dirty and pan-handler-infested the area, and outside… around the Cafe du Monde… has become.
I haven’t been into the city since Katrina, though…. so I wonder how that’s changed things.
The food. Damn, I do miss the food. Even the little Mom and Pop places were so much better than almost anywhere else.
