Isn’t Laura basically an anti-immigrant white supremacist? The last time Conor Lamb would have fit into the Republican party was probably during the Eisenhower era. When that GOP returns, he might reconsider his membership.

For me the last straw was 2004 - I kept my registration for a little while still out of pure laziness, but the purple heart band aids and the convention speeches of Obama and Zell Miller made it clear to me that I didn’t have a place in the GOP anymore.
