Yes, but it doesn’t say what you think it does.

The NYT piece is an from the Op-Ed page, whereas the WT piece is from the News page (hopefully there is more than one of those, by the way). You would expect a news piece to be about something going on today and WRT Darwin, that’s going to be a kook story, whereas the Op-Ed page can be whatever—in this case a book review, or a retrospective—can’t tell, not logged in.
