Between the appearance of Roger Stone’s involvement and the victim’s press conference (which raises as many questions for me as it answers, TBH), this is starting to look like some Grade-A ratfucking.
And in the name of expected Republican behavior in future elections (which many have pointed out will be the same way they’d behave whether this came up or not), we’re demanding that one of our most effective legislators resign right this minute.
I say bring on the ethics investigation and deal from there. No amount of ‘getting in front of the story’ is going to make Republicans behave any less like assholes.
