My best friends got audited and were told to pay certain amount. Then after they paid that, the IRS came back and said they owed more, so they paid that, then the IRS said they didn’t owe that and sent it back, then the IRS came calling again and said yes they did owe it and they also owed the interest and penalities as a result.

I spent about 8 months one year proving to the IRS I didn’t work a year for a company.
