Look at the models of luxury cars on the table, Barron’s “toys.” Don’t you think he would love to have a Lego set or Transformers? Those models are not toys to be played with, they are collectibles for grownups. I know this because we used to receive promotional models of F-150’s and Mustangs which I gave to my grandkids to play with, and they destroyed them very quickly after normal kids’ play.

I found that out the hard way, both when I was a kid and now as an uncle lol

I got my then 10 year old nephew a model car of a ‘67 Toyota 2000GT I purchased from the Toyota Museum in Nagoya as a birthday gift for him.

And I find out that he knocked out the infamous fender mirrors on the model car due to normal kids’ play.

I was upset but then chalked it up to the fact that I gave a kid a model car for grown kids so I can’t be upset about it lol
