He wants the gladiators to die for his amusement. I love football and sports but being smart about this is the right thing to do and there are athletes , coaches, and administrators who agree with that. Trump just wants football so he can have another way of putting off his job responsibilites and he wants to be able to yell at athletes for not standing even though he was prancing around like the Pillsbury Doughboy during the national anthem during the Super Bowl.
