I am prone to ignore best by dates except when it comes to raw chicken, pork or fish.

If I eat slightly old beef I end up spending 3 days in the shitter (no not shutter you shitty Google autocorrect).

No idea why, everyone else in the family eats the same stuff with no problem.

Meanwhile my wife, who is African, has frequently had worse digestive problems in Africa than me.

Guts are wierd.
