The mainstreaming of the far right fringe is very disappointing and plays right into the hands of people who would paint every fiscal conservative who attends church and espouses traditional patriotism as a whack job conspiracy theorist.

I know that FOX is motivated by ratings and money. This much is not a mystery. But I’m perplexed as to why the conservative pundits and political organizations are allowing themselves to be radicalized by the most extreme examples of the right of center crowd.

Do they somehow believe that if courting radicals and malcontents on the left won political power for the Dems that the same type of massing of the radical right will bring back power to the conservatives? There are too many flaws with that plan to list.
