While I’m not fond of abuse of police powers, it might not be unreasonable for the Secret Service to announce that in the future, anyone showing up at a presidential event with a firearm is going to be held for extended questioninggiven a thorough probing. Screw up the rest of their day, make it real inconvenientuncomfotable for them.
