I understand it might not seem like a big deal, but in terms of rights I find you can do worse than the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. Article 15 of which states:

Article 15

1. Everyone has the right to a nationality.
2. No one shall be arbitrarily deprived of his nationality nor denied the right to change his nationality.

I do think that’s a very important right, and I’d hate to see American take a step back on it.
