Hard to tell. The ACORN and Planned Parenthood stuff wasn’t taken seriously by most people I know—but I could tell that the PP stuff seemed more important to my father, because being pro-life is one of his issues. He knew that there were issues with O’Keefe, but the whole thing still seemed to resonate with him.

I’m seeing a lot of pro-Israel activists I know respond pretty strongly to the NPR thing, and trying to explain the problems with O’Keefe’s work goes only so far.

I think he is effective, in certain circles, yes.

And those certain circles appear to be enough to get sizable reactions, unfortunately.
