I think he is criticizing that the Democrats cede, and don’t even really try, in rural areas.

Which is sad, because I think we could have a wing of the party oriented towards them. It is not difficult.

I can’t speak to Nebraska, but there was a Democrat running in every one of Virginia’s congressional districts.
