“Gun Grabber” and “Actual Responsible Gun Owner” have a surprisingly large overlap on the Wingnut Venn Diagram. As with so many other topics in this world, it turns out that the people that are actually qualified to talk about it — the people that are knowledgeable, trained, and treat the topic with respect — are never the ones that are the loudest about it. Wingnut rage about things comes from a place of profound ignorance; a tale, told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing.

Well said. In a million years I wouldn’t:

1) take a picture of myself posing with a firearm let alone posting it on social media.
2) show up to a restaurant with a rifle slung over my back.
3) spend every waking moment obsessing how to involve my firearm(s) in my daily life.

The gun nuts really do have a obsessive disorder.
