Dark_Falcon is admittedly and unashamedly partisan. It’s not a bad thing, except that WuB really not that much of a wild lefty at all. I’m to the left of him on some things, he’s to the left of me on some, and I’m not much of a ‘lefty’ either. (Except on social equality stuff, like gay marriage)

Both of us are pretty pragmatic. I think he’s wrong about keeping health insurance companies in the system— but for pragmatic, not ideological reasons. We’re not ideological about financial stuff, and in many ways that appears as ‘liberal’— and that ought to give people pause.

The whole ‘left/right’ thingy is silly as a general metric, especially on financial issues. It only makes sense if the person is working from ideological grounds.
