Besides what the fuck is the fun of the fairy tales if the character just has a gun waiting. Hanzel and Gretel is a great story because of the ingenuity the characters show.

The story would have gone like this: The old woman let’s the children in. While the children are eating, the woman puts her gun to Hansel’s head, and tells Gretel “Put your gun on the table or your brother gets it.” After getting both of their guns, the story mostly continues as before, except now the woman has at least three guns.
