Yes, Walter, but that was after suggesting there are plenty of reasons to spend money in a Casino. I’ve gone to Indian Casinos for (bargain) meals and shows and did no gambling. That being said, of the fraction of welfare recipients that Schwarzenegger is singling out for spending money in casinos, I’m going to speculate (and you may disagree) that these people weren’t making the most efficient use of their money and/or may have gambling problems. And as I said each time, it’s a silly stunt for our Governor to try to legislate this behavior away by making folks sign vague “agreements” as a condition of welfare.

I am amused that you and I may reach the same conclusion, but my thought process may be less charitable than yours. So be it.
