Actually, the Imam is in err.

It is Islam that has made clear that there are no innocents, ever. Israeli civilians are terror targets because they might grow up to be soldiers or give both to soldiers, etc.

All Westerners are targets because they support the existence of Israel, etc. Western civilians are targets because they send troops to figt (corrupt and evil) Islamic regimes.

Since it’s inception and despite claims otherwise, Islam has always viewed civilians and non combatants of any age as legitimate targets.

That said, I don’t have a problem with Cordoba House, per se.

I do believe the imam needs to clarify his remarks and his intentions. If he doesn’t he’ll be regarded as a marginal influence at best.
