I’ve had zero luck teaching my cat English, but she does have the smarts to leave the room as soon as I put a VR headset on, and other people’s cats are not smart enough to do so.

One cat has learned ‘time to go’. He goes into the bedroom, and either on the bed, or under the bed, depending on the circumstances. The other one has to be picked up and carried, and he gets all offended when offloaded.
