Oh, I’m guessing (I admit, I’m guessing) the Admin made some kind of big deal with the Anglo kids that this is a special day for the Hispanic kids. And to show some respect.

The kids, being smart-ass kids wore their American flags (for the first time in their lives, to be buttholes about it)…

That being said, they are in America, and they can wear the American flag if the damn well please.

If one Hispanic kid was wearing a Mexican Flag emblem, the kids had a right to wear the American Flag emblem.

Now, the Hispanic kid who was wearing an American Flag? Well? God bless him/her.

If the kids were being assholes (and perhaps they were), but they didn’t violate the school’s dress code or instructions for that day, then the onus is on everybody else to just ignore the assholes. I do it every day.
