Yeah that was even worse since Kerry did serve. I’ll always remember that one Republican woman with the Purple Heart band aids. That was disgusting. You never saw mocking of McCain’s service at the DNC. In fact, I’d say Democrats have been more respectful of McCain’s service than his fellow Republicans.

And Max Cleland. His treatment at the hands of conservatives was unconscionable.
