Too tired of the hate links and the AM Wingnut Wave every morning and the rampant ODS. I guess the haters always do this when they think Charles isn’t around.

Later folks. Not a flounce, just coming back later when the grownups are here and I don’t have to see such shit on the threads or deal with it. Thank god and Charles for the page system. Maybe some of the AM Wingnut Wave should start using it more.

Until proof to the contrary, we’re adults - and more than capable of making our own choices and interpretatons of the information posted here by other members. I don’t see the necessity of creating heavy ideological divisions other than barring people who’ve clearly gone over the lines established by Charles. If something seems like BS, it’s right to call it out with the facts which prove that the info is invalid. But constantly attacking members in good standing and/or doing a temporary flounce does nothing to resolve the reality of differing opinions on a political blog.

One could also say, “If you don’t like the information or the poster, just keep scrolling.” There’s little chance that LGF is going to turn into Stormfront if we accord the same latitude in opinions - and the possibility of sometimes simply being wrong - that we’d like for ourselves.

LGF is an ongoing learning experience and not an echo chamber ceaselessly serving up this week’s politically correct plat du jour.

We’re adults, and appreciate being treated as such.
