I’m sorry, do you read a blog called LGF? It’s a pretty informative site that covers topics like this.

Ron Paul’s view on health insurance is that only free market competition can make health care affordable. This ignores entirely, of course, that the truly sick are a group that health insurance companies do not want to insure.

This is also the GOP position on health care in the US: more competition is the answer. No actual answer to how more competition would change the fact that those who are sick represent a net loss to health insurers.

The states rights position of the GOP is hardly new, and all the current GOP candidates for presidents have espoused it heavily.

Furthermore, even the supposedly sane candidates like Romney and Huntsman have endorsed the Paul Ryan plan, which is watered-down Ron Paul economics.

Can you explain the difference between the GOP attitude towards how health insurance should be addressed and Ron Paul’s?
