The sectarian divide in Iraq that’s part of why this is causing so much chaos is something you denied the existence of a couple of weeks ago. Have you put any thought into how you managed to so horrendously misread Iraq? I’m figuring it’s that you haven’t actually looked into the situation in Iraq in years, being content to declare victory when McCain did, but I’d be interested if there was another reason why you predicted stability for Iraq a mere three weeks before insurgents captured major cities and the government showed its complete lack of stability.
