I was on food stamps for four months. Last year, I had ministrokes, I couldn’t find work for a while. My Mom said I should apply for help. I qualified for food aid. They deposit money on a little card. You use it at the store like anyone else. That’s the reason I was able to eat until I found another job.

The GOP don’t know how hard it is for regular people. They think poverty comes from moral evil. Fuck them.
