Well, not to try to make Maher out as anything but a smarmy asshole, but I would not be surprised if his appearance, and the reaction of the left played a role in his getting a speaking invite to CPAC, which in turn led the Reagan Battalion to post links to the already-available videos, which led to people watching them and deciding that even though they were cool with cyberbullying, Islamophobia, Transphobia, and generally being a shitty excuse for a person, that excusing sexual abuse of children was a bridge too far.

Pretty sure that none of this was on Maher’s mind when he scheduled Milo. Just one of those assholes who thinks it’s cool to give a platform to the ‘edgy’.
