Yes, it’s Erick, son of Erick, but he’s not exactly out of the mainstream far as Republican attitudes either, which is rather the point.

We know that Democrats maintaining high standards of morality won’t move the GOP base. But there are huge numbers of independent voters out there, many of them women. The GOP can’t win elections with its base alone.
