No, it’s New York.

Which is why we’re The Safest Big City in America.

In the 1980’s/early 90’s, we had 2000 murders a year; starting in 1994, Bratton started enforcing strict gun control. (the peak was 1990, with 2245 homicides)

2017 — 290.

So we’re down 85%.

The last time New York had less than 300 murders in a year, was 1959.
