You really think that will happen? I’d have to see it for myself because I’m not seeing loads of Republicans/Conservatives separating themselves from him, to be honest. Right now, he’s very popular with their base. After the Stormy Daniels’ scandal came to light, Trump’s popularity went UP with White Evangelicals.
Dubya was popular with wingnuts as well…right up until the very end. Then they decided that his decision to bail out the banks and auto industry rather than ascribing to the “BURN IT ALL DOWN!” mentality of the far-right meant he was not Of The Body. That’s when the “Tea Party” suddenly rose and wingnuts started insisting they were really “independents” and only voted for the GOP because they were “fiscal conservatives.”
