Trump’s going to claim success in his claim that he got the US out of Iraq.

Never mind that he was given the boot, or that he ended anti-ISIS operations in a snit, or that he abandoned our Kurdish allies to be slaughtered by ISIS and Turkish forces, or that abandoning Iraq means Iran has greater sway, or that Russia fills the vacuum left by the US leaving (just as Russia entered and took over bases we abandoned in Syria).

This is about Trump branding failure as success and knowing his base wont give a shit either way.
