One of those “you can never go back and live there” moments hit me when I read about a film biography of Charles Darwin that came out in in the UK in 2009 honor of his 200th birthday, and no film distributor in the US would touch it - most likely because they just decided that the outrage, controversy and boycotts it would inevitably engender were not worth any revenues it might generate…

Well, the United Kingdom cancelled Darwin anyway. They removed Charles Darwin from the £10 and replaced him with Jane Austen.
