Meanwhile, the extremists are showing up to post at the end of earlier threads, as they always do. There’s some kind of weird impulse that drives these people to try to get the last word, after the discussion has dwindled out and everyone else has moved on. They seem to believe that if they get that one last comment, their views will somehow be validated.

I wonder if you might have to close a thread as soon as those folks show up.
BTW, that was an excellent video jcm put up of ya. Did you really have a “stache of doom” back then?
